OUR STORY

A Mission Born from Compassion

The Grace Café is a street mission and soup kitchen operating from 323 Talbot Street in St. Thomas, Ontario. Our mission is to support individuals facing homelessness, marginalization, or hardship by offering compassion, resources, and community assistance.

Founded by Ginny Trepanier, The Grace Café is a volunteer-run nonprofit offering free breakfast and lunch to those in need — with no questions asked. We serve meals six days a week and are dedicated to treating every guest with dignity and respect.

The Annex — Addictions Resource Centre

Operating since 2022, The Annex provides no-cost counseling, stabilization support, and resources for individuals struggling with addiction. We believe recovery is possible for everyone and provide a safe, judgment-free environment.

In 2024, we expanded our mission to Sarnia, Ontario, located at 184 Davis St. We offer the same compassionate community support that defines The Grace Café — free meals, resources, and a welcoming space for all.

OUR FOUNDER

Ginny Trepanier

Founded in 2014 by Ginny Trepanier, the Grace Café is a volunteer-run nonprofit soup kitchen in St Thomas, Ontario offering free breakfast and lunch six days a week to those in need. It supports marginalized and homeless people with meals, advocacy, social services, and an addictions resource storefront called “The Annex”.

Under Ginny’s leadership, The Grace Café remains 100% volunteer-run, a testament to the power of community coming together to serve those in need.
